Lip blush is a form of semi-permanent makeup that enhances the natural color, shape, and definition of your lips. Using a cosmetic tattooing technique, pigment is gently deposited into the lips for a soft, natural look.
Lip blush typically lasts 2–3 years, depending on your skin type, lifestyle, and how well you follow the aftercare instructions. A touch-up is recommended 6–8 weeks after the initial session to perfect the results.
The procedure is relatively painless for most clients. A topical numbing agent is applied before and during the session to minimize discomfort. Clients often describe the sensation as a slight scratching or tingling.
After procedure, lips may be vibrant and swollen. Color softens over 7-10 days. Peeling is normal. Follow aftercare for best outcome.
Absolutely! During your consultation, I’ll work with you to create a custom color that complements your natural lip tone and personal preferences for a beautiful, natural result.
The lip blush procedure typically takes about 3-4 hours, including the consultation, numbing process, and tattooing.
Lip blush uses a specialized technique, needles and pigment designed for the delicate skin of the lips. The pigment is softer and fades gradually over time, unlike the bold and permanent inks used in traditional tattoos.
Yes, lip blush pairs beautifully with lip fillers! However, it’s best to wait 4 weeks after fillers before getting lip blush to ensure your lips have healed and settled. However, those with keloids, nodules or scar-tissue from filler are not recommended for lip blush.
